Description

Kids entering SK-Grade 5 this Fall, 2019, will get Powered Up and Raise Their Game for life with Jesus at PORTICO’s 2019 Summer Camp!

Connecting with kids through a culturally relevant video game theme, campers will learn that God loves them, wants a relationship with them, and He gives them power to live for Him!

Campers will be grouped according to their age, and will rotate between 5 activities throughout the day:

  • Music
  • Mission
  • Crafts
  • Games
  • Snacks

Camp will run from 8:45 am-4 pm, Monday-Friday (July 8-12, 2019), with Before/After Care available at an additional cost (from 8 am-6 pm).

Space is limited, so register now!

Please note: If you'd like to sponsor a kid to go to camp, please click on the appropriate button during registration, to donate towards the cost of camp.

FAQs

Are there age requirements to register as a camper?

Yes, camp is restricted to children entering SK-Gr 5 in September, 2019. Children going into Jr Kindergarten (regardless of their age), will need to wait until next year (July, 2020); whereas students starting Middle School (Grade 6) can apply to volunteer as a camp leader instead this year.

What should a camper bring to camp each day?

Each camper should bring a backpack with a water bottle, a lunch box, indoor running shoes, a change of clothes in case of an accident, and their EpiPen, if prescribed for allergies. All items should be labeled with the child's name, in case they are misplaced during camp.

Will lunch be provided at camp?

No, each camper should bring their own packed lunch that is "school-safe" (e.g. nut-free), and a morning snack. We will provide an afternoon snack during one of the rotational activities.

What if my child has allergies?

Each camper will be required to complete an online "Consent Form" indicating any/all allergies. Activities will be tailored to ensure that campers with known allergies are offered a safe alternative option. If your child is prescribed an EpiPen, you will be required to leave it with the nurse, and collect it at the end of the week.

How can I contact the camp leader(s) with any questions?

Please email all questions/comments to: kids@porticocanada.ca.

What's the refund policy?

The deadline for all refunds is: Friday, June 7, 2019 (30 days prior to the start of camp).
